The 6-day trek offers an immersive experience of Berber valleys and survival skills in Morocco’s High Atlas. Participants learn essential wilderness skills like fire-starting, shelter-building, and identifying edible plants. The trek explores remote valleys, authentic Berber villages, and stunning landscapes. Suitable for all, with camping and Berber house stays.

In a week dedicated to survival, you will explore Morocco, its varied landscapes, and its people. Most importantly, you will spend 4 days and nights alone in the wilderness, facing the challenges of nature.In the High Atlas, you will experience a dramatic environment marked by extreme contrasts. At elevations exceeding 2000 meters and away from the usual tourist routes, you'll uncover stunning landscapes featuring Moroccan valleys, snow-capped peaks, and refreshing water sources that will bring you joy.During your internship, you will gain knowledge of essential survival skills, particularly those suited for mountainous and arid regions. You will learn to start a fire, create traps, identify edible plants and insects, construct a shelter, and prepare meals using the resources provided by nature. Home Arrival in Marrakech Home of our team and first exchanges If you get there early, take advantage of your free time to explore Marrakech and its medina.We can have a meal together to enjoy each other's company, learn more about one another, and discuss the upcoming days.We will stay overnight in a riad or a hotel located in the center of the medina.

Day 2:

Transfer to the High Atlas Travel to the Moroccan High Atlas, where you'll encounter breathtaking scenery along the way. You'll witness the snowy peaks of Mount Toubkal and traverse through genuine Moroccan villages and vast desert landscapes that seem to stretch on forever. After multiple journeys at altitudes exceeding 2000 meters in the Moroccan mountains, you will reach a small village in the evening, away from typical tourist routes. Beginning of the trek Today marks the beginning of our journey! We'll be heading towards a stunning wind-swept plateau. Our main objective for the day is to locate a water source and explore everything it has to offer.We will find refuge in the stony cliffs.We will discover how to create traps and purify drinking water. Additionally, we will explore the process of making bread and cooking it using embers. To do this, we will learn various simple and efficient fire-making techniques. Trek Awaken to a breathtaking view fit for the most magnificent adventure films.Today, we will head down to a different drinking water source where we'll establish our campsite for the night. Throughout the day, we'll apply the survival skills we learned yesterday, including setting traps, gathering wood, picking fruits, starting a fire, preparing a meal, and constructing a shelter.We will enjoy a meal made from our harvest before staying another night in the Moroccan mountains.

Trek Wake up in the middle of the wilderness Today, we will stroll through a pebble-strewn forest of holm oaks, located over 2,500 meters above sea level! This will be a lengthy trek of more than 12 kilometers.Reaching the campsite will bring numerous discoveries and surprises.Amidst its waterfalls and steep drops, as well as the presence of squirrels and natural rain showers, you'll discover yourself surrounded by stunning landscapes. Trek Wake up in our shelter We will start a significant descent into a forgotten Berber village.You can expect an invitation to enjoy tea at the home of someone who is eager and pleased to host you.You will find a vibrant valley filled with its river, lush greenery, and frogs.Our final camp will be both welcoming and economical.

End of Trek Last awakening in the Moroccan mountains We will make our way back to society by traveling through stunning landscapes. Prepare for a wonderful evening at a riad in Marrakech, where you can enjoy relaxation, luxury, and pleasure, along with a hot shower and an exquisite oriental meal available for purchase.

End of the stay Rise and shine in your cozy room at the riad.We will enjoy a tasty breakfast (not included) and reflect on our stay before departing, feeling more prepared than ever for new adventures!
